Elvis Original 1969 International Hotel VIP box set

Possibly one of the rarest pieces of Elvis Presley memorabilia. Elvis Las Vegas International Hotel present ELVIS August 1969 - Original V.I.P. souvenir box set. This is Mega rare and you will be hard pressed to own a copy. Here is your chance to own Geaorge Klein's personal copy of the set including a 1969 menu. This VIP box set was specially prepared, complimentary gift box given exclusively to invited guests to the showroom International Hotel on July 31st 1969 (media perfromance) and 1st August 1969 (official opening night). George Klein was and still is a disc jockey in Memphis, and was a close personal friend of Elvis and best man at his wedding. The condition is near mint (see photos). Included in this fantastic set is the following: The box itself. Nine page letter from Elvis and the Colonel (fascinating read) in near mint/mint condition 1969 record and tape catalog (near mint) Two black and white 10x8 photos (mint) one colour photo / promo card 10x8 promoting his August shows at the International (near mint) 1969 RCA records pocket calendar (excellent to near mint) 1969 International hotel $1 gaming token by Franklin Mint in display card (mint) Yellow envelope with 'Comliment from Elvis and the Colonel' stamped on the front anf International Hotel logo. Gaming token was included in envelope (mint) 1969 International Hotel complimentary menu. Please note this menu has a different dessert menu to that of my other listing currently on ebay of a similar menu. (menu is excellent condition with slight pen mark and rubbing on top right hand side. LPM 4088 - Elvis TV special album (near mint, still in original seal with edge opened) LSP 4155 - From Elvis in Memphis album (sealed) letter of authenticity from previous owner This set is superb and a real piece of rock 'n' roll history. The latest edition of Presleyanna has this valued at $5,000, although reserve is much lower. Elvis had not done live performances for 9 years, until his return to Vegas in 1969, where by he smashed all attendance records and produced some of the finest music of his career.
